We have been listening to you in the comments and on the forums. People like the Garmin 1000. People like their computers low and out front. With FormMount they can make the choice of location on their own and now - they are not limited. We went back to the prototype lab and designed some longer arms for FormMount - so now, you will have a choice - Choose longer arms for larger computers, shorter ones for medium to small computers. We will detail in a later post how we do that within this campaign, however all positions are covered!!
We are listening to you regarding positions. When we engineered FormMount, we knew we could not be all things to all people, however we are very close. Following are some fresh prototype pictures with the 520 showing charge cable access and positions for back button access. Also, we designed a small riser for the center stack in the cradle to allow the Garmin 1000 to sit in an in-between position. Mount forward, 1000 splitting the difference between forward and over the stem.
