We are very excited and proud to say that we have hit our goal!  Thank you Kickstarter community for the support and the great feedback that we have received so far.  We have meetings tomorrow with our molder and CNC partner and are excited to get the the production rolling. We will continue to provide updates as we move through the remaining 10 days of our campaign and into production. Also be on the lookout for an upcoming stretch goal announcement, likely by Friday.  Again - we are so appreciative of everything and we know that you will love this mount system!

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for your support and the constructive feedback that we have received.  We have been working hard to keep adapting with this campaign and I am excited to announce that we have designed and built the prototype GoPro/Light attachment as well as worked with our manufacturer to add it to the campaign!  We are happy to state that all backers will receive this FREE OF CHARGE!  It will be a $9.99 add-on after the Kickstarter campaign.  We are going to include this (in addition to the regular cradle base) with all pledges, so if you have already backed, no need to do anything.  Following pics are functioning test prototypes.

The FormMount will ship with 2 sets of arms FOR BACKERS ONLY - shorter ones for small to medium computers, longer ones for medium to larger computers (allows Garmin 1000 to be low and out front).  This will be an either/or selection after Kickstarter and be available for $9.99 retail - all backers receive both - no need to do anything

Phone Mount Update. Busy Weekend!!

We are hard at work this weekend designing prototypes for our phone mount. Version 1 was our Alpha R&D unit to dial in the magnet pull force, engagement, internal packaging,and tape adhesion.  We are confident in the mechanics of the R&D unit and are now moving onto aesthetic design with Beta prototypes.

Below are screen shots of Beta versions 2 and 3. These will be 3D printed this weekend and tested throughout the week. We will be focusing in on ergonomics and visual aesthetics. One of these 2 Beta units is going to be our phone mount.

We will keep you posted on the progress of next weeks testing.

FormMount's much anticipated phone attachment.

Since launching the campaign on the 21st, we've been working hard behind the scenes to refine our phone mount attachment. We know this is something so many people want and we will have it ready to go in early 2017. We put quality over everything else and it needs further refinement so we won't promise in the time this campaign has left. That said, we are 100% confident that with the additional time, it will be dialed in to our stringent standards and ready to roll out by spring. Please stay tuned as we are working through the details of possibly being able to add this as a stretch goal.

The Phone Mount Base and Phone Case interface will be made out of injection molded ABS plastic.

The Base has an N42 Neodymium disc magnet with over 25lbs of pull force.

The Phone Case Side Interface will be overmolded onto a coated steel disc.

Phone Case Side Interface adheres easily to most any flat backed phone case with custom cut 3M VHB industrial strength adhesive tape.

No magnets are used on the Phone Case Side Interface. This protects items that may be damaged by magnets if phone is slipped into a purse or along side a wallet.

NEW INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OPTION

We have had feedback asking for a less expensive option for international shipping.  We can ship USPS standard First Class Parcel Post, which is not trackable and can take up to 3 weeks - (We understand the average shipping time is 7-10 days).  The amount for 1 FormMount in that reward level is $49.00, shipping included.  We hope this provides a nice option for people.  If you are outside of the U.S. and have already pledged using the priority shipping and want to change to this option, you can adjust your pledge to reflect that.
