After a long, exhaustive testing & production process, we're finally shipping this week. We've received dozens of encouraging emails saying "take the time to get it right". And while that time was well beyond what we originally anticipated, we've got it right.
A few important notes:
• The magnets are extremely powerful. Be careful not to let the case plate engage with the phone base before adhering to your phone case.
• Use the provided alcohol wipe to clean your phone case before applying case plate.
• The adhesive bond will reach full strength in 24 hrs. Do not attach your phone to the phone base until 24 hrs. have passed.

Hi Backers,
Production on all Phone Mount components is complete, with the exception of the Case Side Plate powder coating. So, basically, we are waiting on receiving our tether anchors from anodizing and our case plates from powder coating.
Once we get these parts and do a final QC on them, we can start shipping. We realize this product is behind schedule, and we apologize for the wait.

We recently received our first batch of production bases with magnets installed, everything looks great and bases are ready to be packaged up.
So as of now, we are waiting on a few more parts before we can start shipping.
Stamped Case Side Parts - Pre-production parts look really nice, production should be starting very soon, then parts will be sent out for black powder coating.
Stamped Case Side Part Adhesive - Production starts next week.
Aluminum Tether Anchors - All machined, waiting to get parts back from anodizing, should be any day now.
I will post another update shortly after the holidays. At that time we should be able to give a solid shipping date.
We have to keep all the bases individually stored in these small white boxes to keep them separated or else they would all be stuck together. The Neodymium magnets are incredibly strong. We're really looking forward to getting all this stuff unboxed, packaged up and shipped!

A little more info and a quick update on the status of our phone mount.
PARTS INCLUDED WITH PHONE MOUNT ATTACHMENT KIT
Phone mount base.
Black powder coated case side plate with 3M VHB 5900 series adhesive.
(1) 6" Black Nylon Tether ( 1 Orange & 1 Black tether for KS backers) with black anodized aluminum anchor.
Alcohol prep pad for preparing phone case surface.
PRODUCTION STATUS
A couple of weeks ago we received our pre production phone base parts, with our F3 logo debossed into it. Logo was approved and production has started on phone bases. Magnet installation will take place immediately after all the bases are molded.
Last week we received our pre production case side parts for approval, as well as, VHB adhesive, tethers, and tether anchors.
Phone case is NOT included in kit, its just pictured to show what our case side stamped part looks like installed.
So to wrap up
Phone Mount Base - In production.
Magnets - Remaining quantity ordered for delivery end of this week.
Case Side Stamped Part - Stamping and powder coating have been approved, part is scheduled for production.
Case Side Stamped Part Adhesive - Approved, order for production placed.
Tether Anchor - Approved and scheduled for production.
Tethers - In Stock.
Alcohol Prep Pads - In stock.
